Your data

Delete your account

You can delete your Ascendia account and the data linked to it at any time, without asking anyone.

From the app

  1. Open Ascendia and make sure you are signed in.
  2. Go to Settings → Profile.
  3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Deletion happens straight away. You are signed out, everything Ascendia stored on that phone is erased too, and the account cannot be recovered.

What is deleted

  • Your profile, email address and sign-in details
  • Your practice sessions and streak
  • Your record of which teachings and lessons you opened
  • Your circle posts and circle memberships
  • Your bookings with teachers
  • Your membership record with us
  • If you taught on Ascendia: your application, profile, uploaded files and Calendly connection

Your journal, voice notes, mood check-ins and vision boards were only ever stored on your phone. Deleting your account in the app erases them there, and so does deleting the app.

What is kept, and why

If you taught on Ascendia, records of your earnings, payouts and sessions are kept because tax and accounting law requires it, but they are no longer linked to you. Your published courses and channelings are unpublished, and people who already bought a course keep what they paid for.

Apple, Google and Stripe keep their own records of your payments under their own policies; we cannot delete those. Copies of your data in our backups expire within 30 days.

Your subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play — only the store can do that. Cancel it there first, or you will continue to be charged. Memberships bought on the web can be cancelled from your account page before you delete.

If you cannot open the app

Email privacy@ascendiaunite.com from the address on the account. We confirm the request, delete within 30 days, and write back when it is done.

Ascendia is a contemplative and educational practice, not a medical or mental-health service.
