Ascendia is operated by Shaoom Creations Private Limited (“Ascendia”, “we”, “us”). These terms are the agreement between you and us whenever you use the Ascendia website, the iOS or Android apps, or anything we publish through them. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service — and if a particular clause is the problem, write to us and say so.
Where the law of your country gives you rights that these terms would take away, the law wins. Nothing here is meant to remove a consumer protection you are entitled to.
Ascendia is a daily contemplative practice: a timer, breathwork, affirmation, Solfeggio frequencies presented with their traditional associations, written teachings drawn from many traditions, and courses published by independent teachers. The three-, five- and seven-dimensional language you will meet in the app is a framework for describing qualities of attention — a vocabulary, offered as one.
Ascendia is a contemplative and educational practice. It is not a medical or mental-health service, not therapy, not a diagnosis, and not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. See the line we will not cross.
You need an account to keep a practice history across devices, and you are responsible for what happens under it. Use an email address you can actually reach, keep your password to yourself, and tell us at once if you think someone else has got in.
Ascendia is intended for people aged 18 and over. If we learn that an account belongs to someone younger, we close it and delete the data.
One account is one person. Sharing a login with a household is not something we police aggressively, but reselling access, or running one account for a group or an organisation, is a breach of these terms.
There are three memberships, and the prices are the prices:
Prices are in US dollars and shown before any tax that applies where you live. A membership renews automatically at the end of each period, at the price you were paying, until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time; your membership then stays open until the end of the period you have already paid for, and stops there.
If the trial is running and you cancel before day fifteen, you are not charged at all.
If we change a price, we will tell you before it applies to you, and never in the middle of a period you have paid for. Continuing after a price change is how you accept it; cancelling is how you decline it.
Memberships bought inside the iOS or Android apps are sold by Apple or Google, not by us. Those purchases are governed by the App Store or Google Play terms as well as these, and they are cancelled, changed and refunded through Apple or Google. The membership itself works the same on every device you sign in on.
Some courses can be unlocked on their own without a membership. An unlock stays available on your account for as long as the account exists and the course remains published; if we ever have to remove a course you have paid for outright, we refund it.
One-to-one sessions and bookings with a teacher are an agreement between you and that teacher. We introduce you, we host their profile, and in some cases we process the payment — we do not deliver the session and we are not a party to it. Their cancellation window and their conduct are theirs; if either goes wrong, tell us anyway, because it affects whether they keep teaching here.
Teachers on Ascendia are independent practitioners, not our employees. Every application is read by a person, every profile is approved before it appears, and every course is reviewed before members can open it. That review is a floor, not a guarantee: it checks for honesty, safety and the boundaries below — it is not an endorsement of any teacher’s worldview, and it cannot make a practice right for you.
Teachers keep the rights to their own work, and they agree to publish only material that:
We can unpublish content or suspend a teacher when that is broken, when a moderation case is upheld, or when the law requires it. Where we can do so safely, we tell the teacher why and give them a way to answer.
Teachers are paid from a shared pool, allocated by the minutes members actually listen to, plus whatever they charge for their own sessions. The pool share and the payout schedule are set out in the teacher agreement.
The circles and comment threads are small and slow on purpose. While you are here, do not:
We would rather have a quiet word than close an account, and usually do. Repeated or serious breaches end access without a refund of the current period.
Nothing on Ascendia treats, diagnoses, cures or prevents any illness, and nobody here is acting as your doctor, therapist or counsellor. Solfeggio frequencies are offered with their traditional associations and nothing more. Teachings are presented as inherited material with their historical context — as a conversation about how to live, not as instructions from an authority.
If you are in crisis, or you are thinking about harming yourself or someone else, please contact your local emergency number or a crisis line in your country. Ascendia is not a crisis service and cannot respond in time. Keep taking what your doctor prescribed; nothing here is a reason to stop.
Your journal entries, voice notes, mood check-ins, vision boards and practice history are yours. Most of them never leave your device. For the parts that do reach us, you give us only the permission we need to store them, sync them between your devices and show them back to you. We do not publish them, sell them or use them to train anything — the privacy notice explains the details.
Anything you post in a circle or a public thread is visible to the people that space is open to, and you give us permission to show it there and to keep it while it is posted.
The Ascendia name, the app, the platform-authored teachings and the design belong to us. Teacher content belongs to its teacher, licensed to us to distribute here. Personal, non-commercial use is what your membership buys; copying the library out of the product is not.
If you were charged for something you did not intend — a renewal you meant to cancel, a duplicate charge, a membership you never opened — write to us within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it. We would rather refund a borderline case than argue about it.
If you downloaded Ascendia from the App Store, Apple’s standard licensed application end user licence agreement also applies to your use of the iOS app. If you downloaded it from Google Play, the Google Play terms also apply.
Apple and Google are not parties to these terms. They are not responsible for Ascendia, its content, maintenance or support, or for any claim about it; those are ours to handle. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms for the iOS app and may enforce them.
The product will change. We add and retire features, and we sometimes take the service down for maintenance. Anything marked “coming soon” is exactly that — a plan, not a promise with a date, and never something you are paying for today.
You can close your account at any time from the app or by writing to us. We can close or suspend an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, or where the law requires it; where we can, we will say why first and give you a chance to answer. If we end your membership without cause, we refund the unused part of the period.
We will run this service with reasonable care and skill. We cannot promise it will always be available, that every teacher will suit you, or that a practice will produce any particular result — nobody honest can.
Except where the law does not allow it to be limited, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, nor for decisions you take about your health, your relationships or your money after reading something here. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
These terms are governed by the law of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim about them in the courts of that country. Nothing in these terms removes a right you have under the consumer law where you live.
Before anything formal, write to us. Most problems turn out to be a billing mistake that we can put right quickly.
When we change these terms materially we will tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect, and post the new version here with a new date at the top. Continuing to use Ascendia after that date is how you accept the change. If you would rather not, cancel — and if the change lands mid-period, we will refund the rest of it.
Write to support@ascendiaunite.com for anything about your account, your billing or these terms, and to privacy@ascendiaunite.com for anything about your data. A person answers, usually within two working days. Ascendia is operated by Shaoom Creations Private Limited.
Ascendia is a contemplative and educational practice, not a medical or mental-health service. See also the privacy notice.
